BPHA

BPHA

bpha is a Housing Association with roots dating back to 1990, when 7,300 homes were transferred from Bedford Borough Council—making it one of the first stock transfers in England. Over the past three decades, bpha has grown to manage nearly 20,000 homes, maintaining a strong presence in Bedford while expanding across the Oxford to Cambridge arc. Guided by its vision of “Quality homes. Connected communities,” bpha works to ensure its properties are safe, sustainable, and efficiently run, all while placing people at the heart of everything it does.

In addition to providing and maintaining high-standard, energy-efficient homes, bpha is dedicated to building strong local partnerships. By working closely with local authorities, public services, and the voluntary sector, the organization helps shape thriving neighborhoods and operates community hubs across its region. bpha’s four strategic commitments—delivering quality and value to customers, helping make places and build local communities, creating a sustainable future, and putting people at the heart of the organization—underscore its mission of serving local people and connecting them to opportunities, services, and each other.
